Welcome to Tweezers in a Haystack!
I’ve been passionate about cosmetics and skincare for as long as I can remember.
One ridiculously early Christmas Day morning sticks in my mind when I thanked Santa for my huge make-up palette of eye-shadows, blushers and lipsticks in all the colours of the rainbow. I excitedly proceeded to cover my entire face in every colour possible and then curled back up in bed to get some more sleep. I like to think I have refined the applying process since then and no longer suffer from the ‘clown effect’ I sported for many years.
I decided to start this blog as a way to contain my thoughts, recommendations, reviews and general wafflings in honour of a subject which I have had complete devotion to for the majority of my life!
Looking after your skin is one of the most important things to remember as we age. We are all different in our complexions and types of skin, there are a multitude of products on the market nowadays that cater for all our needs. I hope to give an insight into the range out there that can enhance our skin and help us protect our outer covering.
I feel make-up is an art form, the skin being our blank canvas where we can awaken our flair for design and use the great skill we have in all of us to create masterpieces in beauticious exterior decoration.
